Club 41 Braşov, no. 1

At Loiret - Orléans, France, August 1991, at the common ceremony of Club 41 Orléans, no. 21 and RT Orléans, no. 60, it took place the transfer of power at which Gheorghe Floroi from RT no. 1 participated too.

On this occasion, the chairman of the Club 41 Orléans no. 21 made the offer of chartering the first Club 41 in Romania.

After this offer and the letters received in 1992, a group of former members of RT no. 1 met and founded the first Club 41 in Romania.

Meetings were organized on the 8th May 1992 and 25th January 1993 where were presented:

  • the project of the statute
  • the proposition made by Club 41 Orléans, no. 21

The letters received from Jean Malard, president of Region 3 of Club 41 France and Jacques Gobert, national vice-president of Club 41 France were also presented, letters by which the possibility of chartering the club in formation, in Braşov was offered. The proposition was accepted and letters in response were written.

The Club 41 in Braşov, in formation developed a sustained activity in the period 1993-1994, demonstrating that there are personalities in Braşov having the real capacity for participating to the club life.

Following the invitation received from the National President of Club 41 France, Gheorghe Floroi participated at HYM 41 International, NicosiaCyprus in September 1993.

On this occasion, the French National Bureau discussed with the delegate of the Club 41 in formation in Braşov about the chartering program. It was taken the decision that the French National Bureau with the Club 41 Orléans, no. 21 should come to Braşov in the period 10-13 March 1994 to hand the CHARTER.

The Club in formation harmonises its spiritual and organisational structure, adopts the statute, and participates at meetings with RT Braşov, no. 1 where close friends to the club become honorary members of RT Braşov, no. 1. In this period, Club 41 Braşov developed an intense international exchange of letters, preparing the moment of CHARTER awarding.

On the 14th March 1994, in Poiana Braşov, Club 41 Braşov, no. 1 is chartered by Club 41 Orléans no. 21

The ceremony took place in the presence of:

  • delegation from Club 41 Belgium led by Daniel Devker – president Club 41 Halle, no. 17
  • delegation from Romanian RT, local RT and LC

In the presence of 150 participants, Michel Louyot, chairman of Club 41 Orléans, no. 21 handed over the CHART to Gheorghe Floroi, the chairman of Club 41, no. 1.

Club 41, no. 1 Braşov fulfils the attributions and responsibilities of Club 41 national and participates at the international AGM in 1994 in Hamburg, Beaune, Dunkerque in order to launch its international relations.

In April 1995 twinning relations are established with the Club 41 Luxeuil-les-Bains, no. 187, in Braşov and Luxeuil-les-Bains.

Some members of the Club 41 Braşov, no. 1 participate at international AGM such as: Paderborn, Meaux, Namur – 1995.

Club 41 Drobeta Tr Severin, no. 2

Club 41 Braşov, no. 1 is preoccupied by the development of friendship all over the country. The French Club and the international board decide with the Club 41 Braşov, no. 1 to assure the support in the formation and chartering of Club 41 Turnu-Severin, no. 2.

The members of the Club 41 Braşov, no. 1 go to Turnu-Severin to visit the club in formation. Here they find a strong club already formed, ready to fulfil the chartering conditions as it was already based on the members of Round Table no. 2. The details of the charter meeting are discussed.

On the 4th November 1995 Club 41 Turnu Severin no.2 is chartered by Club 41 Tarbes, no. 101, France, in the presence of the delegates from the country and abroad, highly honoured by the presence of the international president Guy Mercier, the French national president Jean Pierre di Rosa, the councillor Serge Dienne and the president of the English Club 41, Alan Reynolds. Dămoc Ioan was confirmed as Chairman of Club 41 Turnu Severin, no. 2.

Club 41 Braşov, no. 3

Out of the Round Tables in Braşov a nucleus made of former members appeared and these ones were eager to form a new club. After a period of organisation and harmonisation of the members in the spirit of the club, of identification of international relations, it was high time to achieve the club.

The bureau of the Club 41 Braşov no. 1 is preoccupied by the formation and chartering of the Club 41 Braşov no. 3 and starts an intense activity for the chartering and for entering the 41 INTERNATIONAL.

On the 14th March 1997 Club 41 Braşov no. 3 is chartered by the Club 41 Luxeuil-les- Bains, no 187 in the presence of the international president Glauco Zago, the international treasurer Bonfini Renato, the international councillor of Club 41 France, Patrice Duront, the president of Club 41 Luxeuil-les-Bains, no 187, Filidor and the treasurer Yves Brenard, the delegates of the clubs in the country. Ştefan Crişan was confirmed as a chairman.

During the year 1996, the members of Club 41 Braşov no. 1 participate at the international AGM in Gant (Belgium), St Gallen (Switzerland) and Graz (Austria).

Social project

In 1995, as a follow-up of a project between Club 41 Romania and Club 41 Austria a social project took shape. An asylum for aged person in Brasov was equipped with a modern heating system.

Club 41 Craiova, no. 4

The former members of RT Craiova met in the interval 1996-1997 and created Club 41 Craiova. The members of Club 41 Braşov no. 1 and those of Graz made an exchange of visits with the members of the club in formation in Craiova.

Between 25-28 September 1997 it takes place in Craiova the AGM Club 41 Romania and chartering of the Club 41 Craiova, no. 4. Delegates from Club 41 and Round Tables from Romania are present there as well as numerous representatives of Club 41 in Graz who charter the club in Craiova in an enthusiastic atmosphere. The organisation and development of the two events were prepared in an excellent way by the club in Craiova. The year book was published for Club 41 Romania 1997 and the poster AGM.

Participations

The Romanian Club 41 participates at the national AGM in Switzerland in Bern- October 1997, with 2 delegates: Nicolae Vlad Popa and Sorin Abagiu.

In order to adhere to the International Association of Clubs 41 an intense exhange of letters starts. A delegation from Braşov and Craiova, led by the national president Nicolae Vlad Popa, participates at the International AGM in Tampere, Finland in April 1998. Here is signed the document concerning the adhesion of Club 41 Romania to the international one, document which was unanimously approved.

Club 41 Romania becomes member of Club 41 International with full rights.

It is announced the preparation of AGM for Club 41 Romania – October 1998.

Gheorghe Floroi and Ionel Moldovan from Club 41 Braşov no. 1 participate at the AGM of Club 41 England, at Western-Super-Mare, April 1998.

May 1998- 2 delegates, Sorin Pop and Dan Isopescu from Club 41, Braşov no. 1, participate at the AGM of Club 41 Germany in Bonn.

June 1998- a delegation of Club 41 Braşov no.1 and the Romanian National Board participate at the French AGM in Montpellier: Ioan Vlad, George Mitran, Ionel Moldovan, Mircea Corniciuc. On this occasion, they visited also the twin club, Luxeuil-les-Bains.

August-September, a numerous delegation from Craiova pays a friendship visit to Austrian Club 41 in Graz.

AGM – 1998 Braşov

Between 8-11 October 1998 in Brasov the AGM of CLUB 41Romania in Braşov and the AGM of Round Tables take place. Delegates from all the clubs all over the country take part. The participants from abroad are from Finland (the most numerous delegation), Belgium (national president and IRO), Germany (national past president), Switzerland(national president and vice-president), England, Sweden, France (IRO) and former international president Alan Reynolds.

Club 41 Cîmpulung, no. 5

Along the years 1999-2000 a committee of initiative, made up of former members of Round Table no. 9 met and decided to form Club 41 Cîmpulung, no. 5. In a special atmosphere, at the City Council, on the 1st July 2000 is chartered Club 41 Cîmpulung, no. 5 by Club 41 Braşov no.1 and by Club 41 Tel Aviv, no. 6, in Israel, in the presence of numerous delegates from all over the country.

AGM – 1999 Turnu Severin

The AGM of Club 41 Romania takes place in the interval 16-20 September 1999, in Turnu Severin. Delegates from all the clubs in Romania participate. From abroad there are representatives from France, Austria, the international president Luc Desmet and the former international president Alan Reynolds.

AGM – 2000 Braşov

The AGM of Club 41 Romania takes place in the period 28.09-01.10.2000 in Braşov. Delegates of all the clubs in the country take part to it. Members of the international board and numerous members from clubs 41 from other countries take part to it. The newly elected board for the years 2000-2001:

AGM 2001 – Craiova

In the interval 28.09-30.09.2001 the AGM takes place in Craiova. Delegates from the clubs all over the country were present, members of the international board, as well as members of the Club 41 from abroad. The new statute of Club 41 was approved and the new board was elected for the years 2001-2002 as follows:

AGM 2002 Braşov

In the period 25-28 april 2002 the AGM takes place in Braşov. For the first time it is organized AGM International 2002 in Romania, event of great importance very well organized by Clubs no. 1 and no. 3 Braşov.

At the International AGM took part delegates of all the countries, that are members of Club 41 International. The members of the international board were present: Beat Berger, Sam Sampath, Herbert Potzinger, Marc Niederlender, Michael Dalbo, Skou Riggelsen. Luc Desmet, Wolfgang Rossel, Alan Reynolds, Peter Poech, Daniel Ponchon. The meeting took place in Poiana Braşov. The echoes of this AGM International were positive from all points of view.

At the national AGM was elected the National board for 2002-2003:

Club 41 Braşov, no. 7

After a period of organisation, in which Club 41, no 1 was involved, a new Club 41 is formed in Braşov. The chartering of the Club 41, no. 7 took place in the period 8-11 May 2003. The chartering ceremony took place in a historic place at the City Hall, the chart being handed over by the chairman of Club 41 Braşov no. 1 and the president of Club 41 Lorient no. 47 in the presence if numerous guests from the country and abroad.

Club 41 Suceava, no. 6

At the charter meeting of Club 41 no. 1, in Mars 1994, RT no. 4 Suceava was represented by Florin Mărgineanu and George Petrescu. As usual, the participation of people from Bucovina is extremely active.

On the 25th June, the initiative group made of former members of RT no. 4 Suceava – Dorin Ţugui, Azad MAndalian, Mihai Viorel Seredenciuc and George Petresu meet on the terrace “Fretta” at a first meeting of Club no. 6 in formation. Some members who sympathize the RT: Constantin Chiru, Vasile Tabarcea, Valeriu Culipei, etc.


Suceava participates in July 2000 at the chartering of the future godparents – Club 41 no.5 Câmpulung Muscel, no. 5 as well as the International Agm 2002 organised in Braşov.

The handing of the chart took place in Gura Humorului (county Suceava) on the 7th June 2003 by Club 41 Câmpulung Muscel no. 5 and Club 41 Winschoten no.1 Holland, ceremony at which the representatives of the clubs 41 and Round Table Romania and guests from abroad took part.

On this occasion, Round Table no. 4 Suceava celebrated 10 years since they had been given the chart.

AGM 2003- Turnu Severin

In the interval 19-21st September 2003, on the bank of the Danube took place the AGM of Club 41 Romania. The international president, Michael Dalbo Pedersen, and delegates from France, Germany, Austria and Holland were present there. The National Board for the period 2003-2004 was elected:

This was the first AGM at which seven clubs throughout the country participated.

It was published the year book Club 41 Romania for 2004.

In the period 11-14 Mars 2004 the Club 41 Romania celebrates 10 years of existence.

In Braşov, 10 years ago, it was founded the first Club 41 in the south-eastern part of Europe.

In these ten years, the function of national president was held as follows:

AGM 2004 – Câmpulung Muscel

In the period 24-26 September 2004, the first AGM of Club 41 takes place in Câmpulung Muscel. Beside the guests of the seven clubs in Romania personalities of the Club 41 International were present: Michael Dalbo Pedersen, Denmark- former international president, Alan Reynolds (with his wife), UK, former international president, Bernard Ray, France - IRO, Peter Ornee, Holland, national secretary, Luigi (with his wife), Italy, international IRO.

The medal and diploma of honorary member of Club 41 Romania were awarded to Alan Reynolds.

George Brădean – from Club 41, no. 7 was designated as a delegate for HYM 1-3 October, in Anverpen, to represent us.

The following National Board was elected at this AGM, for 2004-2005:

Year 2005 – Suceava

In the period 24-26 September, the AGM of the Club 41 Romania was organized for the first time in Moldova. Beside the guests of the seven Romanian clubs participated personalities of Club 41 International: Uwe Kerstan, vicepresident of Club 41 International, Michael Dalbo Pedersen, Denmark, former international president. , Peter Ornee, Netherlands, former national secretary, Rudolf Ritlinger - Club 41 Italy Merano. The superb touristic and historic sights of the region were visited.

This year until the AGM in 2006, the actual National Board was reconfirmed:

AGM 2006 – Braşov

In the interval 23 -26 September, in Brasov the AGM of Club 41 Romania took place. Beside the representatives of the seven clubs in Romania, personalities of the Club 41 International took part: Uwe Kerstan, president of 41 International – Germany, Dieter Straka- vicepresident international - Austria, as well as member of foreign clubs among whom we mention: Bernard Ray – former national IRO France, with his wife, Patrick Nivet – national IRO- France, Hubert Braeckman – former national president Belgium, o delegation of three persons from Denmark, led by Michael Dalbo Pedersen – former international president, Bob Parton – former national president, Germany with his wife, Hans Dieter Gesch – national IRO Germany, Franz-Peter Marx, national vicepresident Germany, Peter Ornee, national secretary Holland.

The following National Board was elected at this AGM, for 2006-2007:

AGM 2007- Braşov

In the interval 22-24 September it took place in Brasov, the AGM of Club 41 Romania. Beside the representatives of the seven clubs in Romania, 24 guests from England, Denmark, Germany, Austria, France, Italy and Netherlands were present: ALAN REYNOLDS, ALAN CULVER, KLAUS BRYLD, HENRIK SOERSEN, CARSTEN FLINK, MICHAEL DALBO PEDERSEN, HANS DIETER GESCH, JOACHIM KARG, ALFRED KRENN, HERMAN PROYER, JEAN PAUL GALINANT, MARTIN THIERRY, FRANCOIS YVRARD, PATRIK NIVET, DIDIER OBOROCEANU, ROBERT BIGNEAU, ARNOLD LAIDAIN, CHRISTIAN VAINT, RANDOLPH RIDLINGER, ADCCIO ARRIGHI, PAOLO BONAGURA, PINTER HORST, PETER ORNEE, DOLP ANDREAS.

It is established that the organizers for AGM 2009 are Club 41 no. 6 – Suceava and for AGM 2010 – Club 41, no. 5, Câmpulung Muscel (10 years anniversary).
